# Send a report to support

> One button sends errors and requests and gives an SCD- code. Send the code, no log needed

**1. Click the button**

**Settings -> General -> Help -> Report for support -> Send report**

The same button is on the **Something went wrong** screen and in the **Network check** window.

**2. Take the code**

A code like `SCD-7F3K92QA` appears. It is already copied.

**3. Send the code**

Paste it into your message: [where to write](https://docs.getsoundcloud.app/en/help/contact.md). The **Open Discord** button opens the server.

> **Did not send?**
>
> The app saves a `scd-diagnostics-...json` file to your Downloads folder. Click **Show in folder** and attach the file to your message.

>
> The report has recent requests, errors and log lines. No account data or tokens. Kept 30 days.
