Do not download **Source code (zip)**, **Source code (tar.gz)**, **latest.json** or **.app.tar.gz**: they are the code and the auto-update files, not the app. There is no build for Windows on ARM, 32-bit Windows or a universal dmg.
The buttons on this page download through the project mirror, so you do not need to open GitHub. Another option: [getsoundcloud.app/download](https://getsoundcloud.app/download?lang=en).
The site does not open either: turn on a VPN only for the download. The app itself does not need a VPN.
On [getsoundcloud.app/download](https://getsoundcloud.app/download?lang=en) every file has its SHA-256 and a copy button. Calculate the SHA-256 of the downloaded file and compare:
