# How to get STAR

> In the app: SBP, card, crypto or Telegram Stars. Or with an activation code

    Not signed in? Click **Sign in with SoundCloud**. STAR is tied to this account.

  <Step title="Open STAR">
    Click **STAR** in the left menu. Or **Settings -> General -> Support the project -> Get STAR**.

  <Step title="Choose the term">
    Click **Monthly**, **Quarterly** or **Yearly**: the price is on the button. Then click **Ignite your star**.

  <Step title="Choose how to pay">
    **SBP**, **RU card**, **Foreign card**, **Crypto**, **CryptoBot** or **Telegram Stars**. Click **Continue**.

        1. Open your bank app and scan the QR.
        2. Confirm the transfer.
        3. Keep this screen open.

        The payment opens in your browser. Pay there, and the app screen updates by itself.

        It did not open? Click **Open checkout**. For CryptoBot: **Open in Telegram** or **Open in browser**.

  <Step title="Wait for it to turn on">
    The app checks the payment by itself and shows your name and the end date. Click **To music**.

    1. Open **STAR -> I have a code**. If STAR is already active: **STAR -> Redeem a code**.
    2. Type the code or click **Paste from clipboard**.
    3. Click **Activate STAR**.

    The code looks like this: `STAR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX`. Case and dashes do not matter.

    | **This code was already used.** | A code works once. You did not enter it? Contact the seller. |
    | **We don't know this code. Check the characters.** | There is a typo. Check every character. |
    | **This code was revoked.** | Contact the seller. |
    | **This code has expired.** | Contact the seller. |
    | **Couldn't activate the code. Try again.** | Click **Activate STAR** once more. Still no luck: open a ticket on [Discord](https://discord.gg/xQcGBP8fGG), in the **tickets** channel. |

    1. On [Boosty](https://boosty.to/lolinamide), link your Discord and subscribe.
    2. Join the [project Discord server](https://discord.gg/xQcGBP8fGG) and pass the check in the **verification** channel.
    3. In a text channel of the server, type `/sc-link` and the link to your SoundCloud profile, for example `soundcloud.com/name`. A track link does not work.
    4. Click **Привязать** (Link). The bot answers in Russian.

    `/sc-me` shows the linked profile and the subscription status. STAR lasts while the Boosty subscription is active.

    To extend: open **STAR** and click **Extend**. The new days are added after the current end date.

    Only **Telegram Stars** with the **Monthly** term can auto-renew: tick **Auto-renew (Telegram Stars, monthly)** when you choose how to pay. Other methods are one-time payments.

    To turn it off: open **STAR** and switch off **Auto-renew**. STAR stays until the end of the paid term.
