MSVCP140.dll or another .dll was not found

The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

The same box can name VCRUNTIME140.dll or VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

Download vc_redist.x64.exe from the Microsoft site

Take x64 even if other Visual C++ versions are already installed.

Install it

Run the downloaded file and wait until it finishes.

Restart the computer

Then start SoundCloud Desktop.

Do not download single DLL files from websites and do not put them in the app folder. Reinstalling the app will not help either.
